OPTO-JOIN optoelectronic transmission system for safety edges

The OPTO-JOIN is an optoelectronic transmission system, which was designed to replace the spiral cable.

The OPTO-JOIN is an optoelectronic transmission system, which was designed to replace the spiral cable. All signals at the moving door panel coming from safety edges, pass door switches and slack rope switches can be transmitted safely and wireless.
The system consists of a master unit (door control side) and a slave unit (door panel, with batteries). A safety orientated transmission method guarantees a reliable signal transmission and using an optimised power management results in a very long lifetime of the batteries.
The usage of infrared light for the data transmission is not subject to restrictions and can be used worldwide without any problems.
